US study: 34% have iPhone 7 / 7Plus, 6 per cent iPhone SE

After about a year in the US 34 percent of iPhone users use an iPhone 7.

At the moment Apple’s most recent quarterly statistics are being processed statistically. Especially for the main product, the iPhone, such an accurate analysis of the numbers is important. Because Apple shares the essentials: the absolute number of all devices sold.

How many copies of which model were sold, falls completely under the table. That is why the analysts of CIRP have now presented current figures for iPhone usage.

They say that 141 million iPhones are currently used in the US. In the last quarter, there were 136 million, the same year 124 million.

USA: One of three iPhones is an iPhone 7

One of three iPhones is either an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 7 Plus – 48 million copies of these models are currently in circulation in the USA. That would be about 34 percent of all Apple smartphones used there.

The rest of the active iPhones are made up of iPhone 6s (Plus) and iPhone 6 (Plus) models. Older devices are hardly ever used – but six per cent use the iPhone SE, the iPhone with the smallest display.

Overall, however, the number of iPhone users iPhones with 5.5 “display. The trend is therefore towards larger screens.
